Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Codenz Technologies (“we”, “us”) for the use of Dairyvex: our website, web app and mobile app (together, the “Service”). If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business, and “you” means both you and the business.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration details, including a working email address.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done under your account, including actions by people you invite. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
• The account owner decides who in the organisation can see and change data by assigning roles and permissions.

3. Using the Service

You agree not to:

• break the law or use the Service to record or promote illegal activity, or to harm animals;
• attempt to access data that belongs to another organisation, probe or disrupt our systems, or bypass rate limits or security controls;
• upload malware or content that infringes anyone’s rights;
• copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service, except as the law allows;
• use automated scripts to overload the Service.

4. Your data

You own the farm records and other content you put into Dairyvex (“Your Data”). You give us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Data only to provide the Service to you. You can export your reports and delete your account at any time. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Plans, payment and renewal

• Dairyvex offers a free plan and paid plans with different limits (animals, farms and users). Current plans and prices are on the Pricing page.
• Paid plans run for the period you purchase and are paid in advance by the payment methods we offer at the time (currently bank transfer, confirmed by us before the upgrade takes effect).
• If you exceed the limits of your plan, we may stop you adding more records until you upgrade or reduce usage. We never delete your existing records because of plan limits.
• We may change prices for future periods with at least 30 days’ notice. Taxes, if any, are your responsibility.
• Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

7. Availability and changes

We work hard to keep the Service available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may update, change or discontinue features, and sometimes need maintenance windows. The mobile app is designed to keep working offline and to synchronise later; records created offline are only safe on our servers once they have synchronised, so keep the app signed in and sync regularly.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Dairyvex name, logo, software, design and documentation, belongs to Codenz Technologies and its licensors and is protected by law. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is in good standing. Feedback you give us may be used to improve the Service without obligation to you.

9. Suspension and termination

• You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account).
• We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or fail to pay for a paid plan, after reasonable notice where possible.
• When your account ends, your right to use the Service ends and Your Data is deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Warranty disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including about merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calculations or uninterrupted, error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, livestock, data or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or PKR 5,000 if you use the free plan).

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and compensate us against claims arising from Your Data, your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app. If you continue to use the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first: write to support@dairyvex.com. If we cannot, the courts of Pakistan have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
